The free market for data is broken. For too long, data has been consumed without fair return, while the demand for high-quality data continues to grow—driven by our digital and AI ambitions.
We believe it’s time to move from a broken exchange model to a transactional system—one that creates a balanced, open, and compliant data economy where everyone can contribute and benefit.
But today, accessing data through transactions is a nightmare. It’s hidden behind vendors, buried in complex contracts, and requires scarce expertise. Negotiations are slow, expensive, and repetitive—with little leverage for the buyer.
We envision a world where data flows effortlessly, transparently, and in full compliance with legal and consensual agreements.
Our mission is simple:
Make data transactions as easy and compliant as financial ones.
To achieve this, we need:
- Market Makers – Domain experts who define the right data for every information need.
- Exchange Facilities – Service providers who enable data exchange on their own or others’ behalf.
- Trusted Environments – Groups of organizations united by a shared goal, such as an industry, challenge, or region.
For them, we built THFLR—the Exchange for Data, inspired by the world’s first stock exchange in Amsterdam. THFLR empowers users to focus on valuable data transactions while we ensure:
- Supply and demand for data products and services are matched
- Transactions are compliant by design and efficient by default
- Multiple organizations can collaborate to fulfill a single data need
THFLR is where data finally becomes a fair, fluid, and trusted asset.
